Professor Dame Helen Stokes-Lampard

Helen is an NHS GP Principal in Lichfield, a Professor of GP Education at the University of Birmingham and a Non Executive Director of NHSEngland. She was Chair of the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges (AoMRC) 2020-23 and Chair of RCGP 2016-2019. She has a host of other non remunerated roles including being the founding Chair of the National Academy for Social Prescribing (NASP), the founding Chair of the Dames Commander Society (DCS) and a Trustee of Macmillan Cancer. Additionally she sits on the Expert Advisory Group which advises the national AI Security Institute (formerly the Frontier Taskforce) and Chairs the independent clinical oversight group for the GRAIL/Galleri study. Helen was awarded a DBE for services to General Practice in the New Years Honours list January 2022.
