Dr Rowena Christmas

Rowena Christmas is a full time GP Principal with 21 years experience in a small rural practice in Monmouthshire. She is a passionate advocate of the importance of Primary Care to the NHS & of the value of continuity of care for both patients & doctors. She is a Faculty Representative on UK Council & has recently become a member of the RCGP Committee of Medical Ethics. Rowena is Vice Chair of the Welsh Medical Committee, leading on Safeguarding & Advance Care Planning. She is RCGP Lead for Safeguarding in Wales & is a Bevan Exemplar for the establishment of Safeguarding Supervision Groups across Wales.
