Dr Robert White
General Practitioner with Extended Role in Dermatology & Skin Surgery, East Kent Community Dermatology
Dr. Robert White is a General Practitioner with Extended Role (GPwER) in Dermatology & Skin Surgery.
He is Joint Clinical Lead for the NHS East Kent Community Dermatology, which delivers medical and surgical dermatology care across seven clinical sites.
Dr. White completed his medical degree at the University of Leeds in 2005 followed by foundation training in West Yorkshire; he then undertook the GP VTS at St Mary’s Hospital in London before working in expedition medicine and a GP role in New Zealand. Since 2016 he has been a GP Partner with Whitstable Medical Practice, offering NHS GP and additional clinical services to patients in East Kent.
During his time in East Kent, he has undertaken dermatology training for the local GP VTS, the Kent & Medway Medical School and, with support from L’Oréal, established the East Kent Skin Club, an educational and social forum for community and hospital-based dermatologists.
