Dr Jonathan Leach OBE
NHS England Associate Medical Director for Armed Forces and Veterans Health and GP , Davenal House Surgery Bromsgrove
Dr (Colonel Retired) Jonathan Leach is a GP in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire who joined Davenal House practice in 2009 after originally pursuing a military career having worked around the world for 25 years.
In addition to work at Davenal House, he is a clinical lead for Herefordshire and Worcestershire CCG, Associate Medical Director for Military and Veterans Health for NHS England. Formerly Jonathan was Joint Honorary Secretary of the Royal College of General Practitioners and Chair of the RCGP Midlands Faculty. Dr Leach was awarded an OBE for services to general practice in the 2020 New Year’s Honours list.
Professional interests include trying to improve the quality of general practice and deal with current challenges, urgent care and supporting members of the Armed Forces community, including veterans.
